The full name of material of FEPM O ring is Tetrafluoroethylene propylene, which is also know as Aflas® which is a registered trade mark of Asahi Glass Co. (AGC).


Compared to common FKM O ring, FEPM O ring has excellent resistance to a broader range of chemicals, such as alkali/bases, stems. However, FEPM O ring is not compatible with aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and some fairly common organic solvents.
